About Coach Sway

Coach Consuela "Sway" Lively has been professionally coaching endurance sports since January 2005. During this time she has coached hundreds of athletes, guiding them as they met their personal goals from completing their first mile run, to running a marathon and qualifying for Boston or competing in a sprint distance triathlon or for the Kona Ironman World Championships in Hawaii.

Coach Sway has always lived an active lifestyle and was an avid cyclist before competing in triathlons/endurance sports in 2004. She has worked her way to being one of the more competitive age group triathletes by earning USAT All American status in 2008. She has qualified for the Boston Marathon; finished in the top 6% of her age group at the Ironman distance triathlons and was honoured to represent Team USA at the ITU World Championships in Holland in August 2008. A few of Coach Sway's PRs include:
  • Half Ironman 70.3 - 5:11:01 (May 2009)
  • Ironman 140.6 - 10:46:46 (Nov 2008)
  • Olympic Triathlon - 2:13 (May 2007)
  • Marathon - 3:37 (Feb 2008 Boston Qualifier)
In Coach Sway's words, success is: "It is difficult to put into words the feeling you get when you watch one of your athletes cross that finish line with a smile on their face, tears in their eyes and a feeling of great accomplishment. SUCCESS!!"

Coach Sway constantly encourages her athletes to work hard but more important to enjoy the journey. Her training plans are not limited to swimming, biking and running but also include weight training, stretching and nutritional information so that your body is properly fueled for whatever your endeavour may be. Coach Sway looks forward to making your endurance sport adventure a life changing experience.
